SocialMax is a self-help and wellness tool. It is NOT:

A substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
A replacement for therapy or counseling
An emergency or crisis service

User Responsibilities

AI Companion (Max)

Max is an AI-powered companion designed to provide support and suggestions. You understand that:

Subscriptions & Auto-Renewal

SocialMax offers auto-renewable subscription plans and a one-time lifetime purchase:

Auto-Renewal Terms:

Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price.
You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your device Settings, then Apple ID or Google Play, then Subscriptions.
Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

Free Trial

SocialMax offers a 7-day free trial for new users. During the trial period, you have full access to all features at no charge. After the 7-day trial ends, a paid subscription is required to continue accessing premium features. No payment information is collected during the trial. You will not be automatically charged when the trial ends. You will be presented with subscription options to choose from.

Refunds

All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store or Google Play Store. Refund requests must be directed to the respective store. We do not process refunds directly. For Apple, visit reportaproblem.apple.com. For Google Play, visit the Google Play Help Center.

User Content

You retain ownership of all content you create in the app (journal entries, events, goals, etc.). By using the app, you grant us a limited license to process this content solely to provide the service to you.

Intellectual Property

SocialMax, including its design, features, content, and the Max character, is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

Disclaimer of Warranties

SocialMax is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your specific requirements.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SocialMax and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the app.

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the app at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the app.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States.
